The fourth season of Rick and Morty is coming to Adult Swim in November and, as a tease, the network just released some new images. It’s been more than two years since we last saw Rick and Morty stumbling around space, and the new images should tide over fans until the new episodes come later this year.
This is expected to consist of 10 episodes, making up part of the 70 episode order by Adult Swim. The long wait between seasons came in part because of a long contract battle between the channel and the show’s creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Roiland also co-founded Squanch Games, which recently launched Trover Saves the Universe.
The image above shows Rick looking euphoric after landing in an intergalactic corn field, whereas the image below has the opposite vibe as the scientist is surrounded by raptor/crocodile-like creatures.
Rick and Morty will also be at San Diego Comic Con this year as part of Adult Swim’s regular presence at the show. Here’s a tidbit of info about the upcoming panel.
“Wubba lubba dub dub! The Emmy Award–winning series Rick and Morty is back for a highly anticipated fourth season, premiering November on Adult Swim. Executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Adventure Time), and voice talent Spencer Grammer (Greek), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs). and Chris Parnell (Archer) invite fans to take a look at what they have cooking for the new season. Moderated by Rob Schrab(Creepshow, Community).”
